E. A. Elias – Managing Director, APW President Systems Ltd.
E. Elias is the Managing Director of APW President Systems Ltd., a joint venture that was formed between the former Stellar Modular Systems Pvt Ltd and Vero Electronics Ltd. (now APW Electronics Ltd) of the UK.
Elias graduated from IIT Bombay with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1966. His professional career included stints with Philips India Ltd., IBM and Tata Burroughs – now Tata Infotech. The wealth of experience gained with these highly regarded multinational companies included design of Test and Measuring Equipment, product development, manufacturing methodologies, as well as electronic data processing and marketing, distribution and support of computer systems and software.
In 1981 Elias left the corporate world of multinationals to start a small-scale company in partnership with two friends. This was the beginning of President Systems. Starting with card frames, or sub-racks, for the housing of PCBs in modular racking systems, the company, which began without any premises of its own, grew rapidly. It converted itself first to a private limited organization and then to a public limited company, following the establishment of the joint venture with Vero Electronics of the UK.
Elias was promoted to the position of Managing Director of the joint venture company in 1999.
He is passionate about maintaining high quality standards in all endeavours, especially all products manufactured by the company. President products have become quality benchmarks for the industry.
Pramod Agashe – Chief Operating Officer, APW President Systems Ltd.
Pramod Agashe joined APW President Systems Ltd in November 2002 and is currently the Chief Operations Officer, managing Sales and Marketing, Export Sales, HR, General Administration and Organizational Development. He has been responsible for sales growing five-fold in the last 6 years, expanding geographies and product lines and acquiring new customers at a frenetic pace.
Pramod has 27 years of varied and rich experience, starting with a 10 year stint at Thermax and Ingersoll Rand for 10 years. He was then head of sales, service and marketing of Precision Air Conditioning division and the overall management of West zone operations for all lines of businesses for Tata Liebert (now known as Emerson Network Power).
Pramod obtained his Mechanical Engineering Degree from VJTI Mumbai in 1984, followed by Masters Degree in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, in 1991.
He loves to read, go on treks, participate in Marathons and has a keen ear for music.
V. Dharani Babu - Vice President – Bangalore & Puducherry Works, APW President Systems Ltd
V. Dharani Babu is the Vice President – Bangalore & Puducherry Works, APW President Systems Ltd, at its Bangalore factory. He joined the company in May 2006.
Dharani Babu has over 21 years of experience across various functional areas of Manufacturing operations and projects gained at BPL group of companies.
He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Calicut University, as well as a Post graduation specialised in Production Engineering from PSG TECH, Coimbatore. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Finance from TAPMI, Bangalore.
Col Milind Solke( Retd) – General Manager – Pune Works, APW President Systems Ltd.
Col. Milind Solke (Retd) is a B E(Electrical) from Nagpur University and Post Graduate Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication from Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad. He has also done Radar Maintenance Course from HSA Holland and Executive Management Certification from IIM Bangalore.
During his distinguished career of over 29 years in Indian Army, he was part of UN Mission in Cambodia, General Manger (Production) of an Army Base Workshop, Chief Maintenance Engineer of Maintainability Advisory Group to DRDO, Hyderabad, Director, Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme for Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa.
He has vast experience in providing engineering support to defence equipment. He took premature retirement, joined APLS in July 2008 and is now heading Pune Works.
Kishore Bhavsar – Company Secretary, APW President Systems Ltd
Kishore Bhavsar joined Union Bank after graduating in 1974, He later joined Standard Mills in the textile Industry as Cost Officer. There he successfully implemented the Cost Audit Record Rules, introduced for the first time by Government.
He later served with Britannia Industries Ltd in India and Bilquis Poultry and Industry in Yemen. He simultaneously cleared the Company Secretarial course.
Bhavsar joined Stellar Modular Systems Pvt. Ltd. (now APW President) as Finance Manager in January 1994. He was subsequently promoted as the Company Secretary in the Company. He has handled the Accounts, Finance and Secretarial functions successfully for more than a decade in APW President Systems Ltd.
