The survey reached out to 415 IT decision makers across 8 Indian cities and 8 industry verticals – and aimed to identify the best IT brands across 30+ categories for SMEs and large enterprises

The PCQuest Users’ Choice Survey (2011) has found that “APW President Enclosures Enjoy 86 % Brand Loyalty in Small Enterprises.” As the survey report indicates:
APC enjoys the highest brand loyalty in 100-499 employee enterprises, with 95% of those currently using APC saying that they’re likely to stay with the brand in the future as well. APW President follows suite at 86% brand loyalty.

Survey Significance
The PC Quest Users’ Choice awards are decided based on a survey that determines the mind share that various IT brands enjoy in the minds of IT decision makers, who decide what IT hardware, software, services, and solutions to buy for their organizations. This mind share is by responses to five very simple questions – which IT brands come to top of mind, which ones do users currently own and why, and which IT brands are they likely to buy in the future, and why.
The Users’ Choice awards therefore acts as a ready reference for all users who want to know which IT products should they consider buying. For IT product vendors, it serves as an eye-opener because it helps them understand where their brand really stands viz-a-viz competition in the users’ minds.

With the objective of streamlining distribution and improving channel and customer relationships, APW President Systems is introducing a selection of its quality products for online sales order booking on the Internet through the web portal – www.cabinets-racks.com.

The online sales order booking portal provides effective support to both distributors and customers by offering multiple benefits.

• Higher visibility. Higher inventory visibility and quicker access to product data across the distribution channels enables faster and more accurate sales management
•  Improved retail support. Meeting the distribution service level expectations of organized retail sales outlets
   
• Better promotional management. Effective management of promotions, backed by better planning, timely data to restructure the promotions, and speedier settling of payouts to channel partners

“President is the first company in India to introduce the option of an online sales order booking management facility for channel partners and customers in the enclosure segment space. The sales portal provides a single interface to our channel partners and end customers, which improves availability and ease-of-buying of President products online,” said Reginald Borges, Business Leader, Retail Products Division, APW President Systems.

With the launch of the online sales order booking portal, the company expects to boost sales for the last quarter of the year 2010-11. The portal has been active since 20th December 2010. Under a start-off incentive scheme, visitors to portal who register between 28th December and 31st January 2011 and complete a purchase will be eligible to receive a surprise gift.

“We are strongly focusing on the retail segment (small-and-medium enterprises and businesses). Along with the sales portal, we have also launched a Partner Relationship program (PRM) which is a web-based application that will help us to interact with channel partners, enabling easy collaboration and exchange of information.” Reginald added.

It is the result of a radically new design approach which sets it apart from other conventional designs.  IMPress introduces several highly customer-centric features, the result of valuable feedback from our customers and our in-house design team gathered over many years,” said Pramod Agashe, Chief Operating Officer, APW President Systems.  

The IMPress family for the housing of servers and networking equipment has been developed keeping in mind the problems faced by system integrators and installers.  Based on an “Open Frame” concept, IMPress provides unmatched all-round accessibility, making equipment installation and cable management much easier than is possible with conventional “4 corner pillar” enclosures.

Also on display will be President’s PATCHRack, which is a modular Datacenter cabling solution providing outstanding all-round accessibility, mounting for 19-inch patch panels and dedicated cable channels at the front and rear on each side of the frame. 

Another solution is President’s Flexibox range of wall-mount cabinets. The Flexibox is ideally suited for deployment in LAN and WAN applications. This new family of wall-mountable 19″ enclosures are supplied in CKD kits thus making them easy to handle and store. Assembly at site can be done in a few minutes using commonly available tools.
