APW President Participates at the BICSI Technology Conference, 2009, Bangalore

Our company participated at the BICSI Technology Conference, 2009,  held in Bangalore on 10th September.

BICSI is a professional association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry. ITS covers the spectrum of voice,  data and video technologies. The annual event attracted over 250 delegates from the ITS professional stream.

S. Venkatraman, Vice President, Enclosure Solutions and Technical Services was one of the speakers at the conference, which focused on  ‘Emerging Technologies in Information Transport Systems (ITS)’.

The theme of his presentation, entitled ‘Datacenter Last Mile’  Challenges  – A Rack Perspective’ brought to the attention of the  audience the latest techniques for achieving significant energy  savings through Thermal Management and Planning with special reference  to cooling and air-flow in modern Data Centers. The presentation drew  a lot of interest from many delegates.

Under the banner of ‘Defeat the Heat!’, our company also presented  information about the full range of Thermal Management Solutions at a  well-designed stall which was part of the event.
